Partner Program Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Uppbeat Partner Program. By applying to join the program, and by remaining a partner, you agree to everything set out below. These terms sit alongside the Uppbeat Terms of Use, which continue to apply to your use of Uppbeat.

1. Joining the program

You may hold one live partnership per Uppbeat account. Applying or joining through multiple accounts is not permitted.
We review every application and may accept or decline it at our discretion.
If you are removed from the program, you may re-apply 60 days after the date of removal.

2. Permitted content

The program is for creators promoting Uppbeat through content they make and publish themselves. Permitted content includes:

Videos and livestreams on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
Podcasts and other audio shows.
Social media posts on your own channels, such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
Blogs, websites, newsletters, tutorials, courses, and reviews that you own or write for.

Your content must be your own original work, must be honest about your relationship with Uppbeat, and must comply with the law and the rules of the platform it is published on.

3. Prohibited promotion methods

You must not promote your partner link by:

Sending spam or unsolicited messages of any kind, including email, direct messages, and comments.
Referring yourself, or people acting on your behalf, to earn commission.
Offering cash-backs, rebates, or other incentives to people who sign up through your link, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
Posting your link on coupon, voucher, or deal sites, or presenting it as an official Uppbeat discount.
Making misleading claims about Uppbeat, our pricing, our plans, or our licensing.
Impersonating Uppbeat or Music Vine, or presenting your content as official Uppbeat content.
Using cookie stuffing, forced clicks, browser extensions, pop-unders, or any other technique designed to claim referrals you did not genuinely generate.

4. Our right to review your content

We may review any content connected to your partnership, at the point you apply and at any time while you are a partner. If we believe content breaches these terms, is unlawful, or could harm the Uppbeat or Music Vine brands, we may ask you to amend or remove it, pause your partnership while we look into it, or remove you from the program.

5. Commission and payouts

You earn a 30% commission on new paid plans started through your unique PartnerStack link.
For monthly paid plans, you earn 30% of each monthly payment for up to 1 year from the start of that plan.
For annual paid plans, you earn 30% of the annual price as a one-off payment. Renewals do not earn further commission.
Commission only becomes payable once you have completed your PartnerStack setup, including any identity and payment details PartnerStack requires.
Commission is not earned on free accounts, on payments that are refunded or charged back, or on referrals generated in breach of these terms.

6. Advertising restrictions

These restrictions are strict. You must not:

Run paid search advertising, including Google Ads, to promote Uppbeat or your partner link.
Bid on Uppbeat or Music Vine brand terms, or misspellings and variations of them, on any advertising platform.
Run paid social ads that point at your referral link, whether directly or through a redirect.

If you breach any of these restrictions, we will remove you from the program and you will forfeit any unpaid commission.

7. Ending your partnership

You can leave the program at any time by contacting us. We can remove you from the program if you breach these terms, if your account is closed, or if we end or materially change the program. If you are removed for a breach, unpaid commission is forfeited and you may re-apply 60 days after removal.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Each version has a version number and effective date, shown at the top of this page, and the version you accepted is recorded against your application. If we make material changes, we may ask you to accept the new version to remain in the program.
