To add Uppbeat motion graphics to your videos, it depends on the type of asset you downloaded:

Drag &amp; drop assets: Download the .mov/.mp4, import it into your editor like any video clip, then drag it onto your timeline. .mov files often include transparency; with .mp4, you may need to remove the background using blending modes.
Customizable templates: Download the .zip, extract it, then open/import the template from the &quot;Assets&quot; folder in the correct software (Premiere Pro/MOGRT, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve). The &quot;Support&quot; folder includes a tutorial and any template notes.

Customizable templates: These are made to be edited (like changing text, colors, and animations), but they&#39;re software-specific. Uppbeat currently offers templates for Premiere Pro (including MOGRTs), After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

What are Drag &amp; Drop assets, and how do I use them?

Drag &amp; Drop assets are simple, non-customizable video clips that work out of the box with almost all video editing software – you just import them and use them like any other clip in your timeline.
How our assets are packaged:

Single assets: Download as a direct .mov or .mp4 file.
Asset packs: Download as a .zip, with multiple files inside the &quot;Assets&quot; folder.

File types (and backgrounds)

.mov: Usually includes transparency (alpha), so your background shows through automatically.
.mp4: No transparency – if there&#39;s a solid background, you can remove it using blending modes (for example Screen for light backgrounds, Multiply for dark backgrounds).

How to use them

Import the file into your editor and place it on your timeline like any other video clip.

Which software is compatible with Uppbeat motion assets?

Our motion assets come in two formats:

Accepted Answer

Yes – as long as you&#39;re on the right plan. Uppbeat motion assets are safe to use in online content (including monetized and sponsored videos), but paid advertising and client/commercial work are covered on Uppbeat Pro.
If you&#39;re creating client work, running ads, or using assets as part of a business project, you&#39;ll need Uppbeat Pro, which includes the extended license for those commercial uses.
