Uppbeat has hit 1 million users, with the music platform for creators enjoying 175% user growth in 2022. The major milestone confirms an impressive sophomore year for the pioneering startup based in Leeds, UK.

Since launching in January 2021, Uppbeat has capitalized on a booming creator economy that has seen 300% growth across core platforms YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Twitch, with an estimated 200 million creators worldwide.

As the first music platform built entirely for creators, Uppbeat offers a curated catalog of music to use in video, podcast and live-stream content as well as its own tailored solution to protect creators from music copyright issues. 

Safeguarding creators’ ability to monetize their content has been key to Uppbeat’s growth at a time when people are turning to social media as more than just a side hustle. Having hit its first million users, Uppbeat is targeting an even greater share of the flourishing creator market.
